WW2 Weekend at Staffordshire Regiment Museum – 28th & 29th July
Staffordshire Regiment Museum is holding a World War II Weekend for local people on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th July 2012 . The event which is open to all ages is a great opportunity to see just what life in WWII was like.Over one thousand visitors attended last year’s event. Visitor attractions included mock battles provided by ‘Living History’ representing British, US and German armed forces. Displays included SSAFA Forces Help and a Home Guard demonstration.
With costumed characters, firing demonstrations, field hospitals, field kitchens, military vehicles and theamed stalls and lost of activitoes for the kids, its not hard to imagine why these events are so popular. The Museum will also be open for visitors.
