Olympic Route Through Tamworth Announced

This Saturday (30 June) sees the Olympic torch visit Tamworth on its tour of the UK before the 2012 Olympics in London this summer.

Residents of Tamworth can see the torch as part of the tour through Tamworth (from the Fox Pub through to the Castle Grounds), then take part in the Olympic Festival in the Castle Grounds, where there will be opening and closing ceremonies including many groups from around the Tamworth area.
