local Schools to sep up Co-operative Learning Trust

Apr 19, 2012 by Tamworth Conservatives

Six local schools – Dosthill Primary, Heathfields Infants, Manor Primary, Stoneydelph Primary, Wilnecote High and Wilnecote Junior are proposing to become foundation schools and to set up a shared Co-operative Learning Trust, with the 1st September 2012 as the proposed implementation date.

The schools believe that setting up the Tame Valley Cooperative Learning Trust will help them to:-

  • improve outcomes for all young people in our learning community;
  • achieve more by working together;
  • establish long-term, sustainable relationships between our schools
  • involve all stakeholders more fully in the learning of young people.

Local residents are invited to attend a public consultative meeting at Wilnecote High School on Monday 23rd April at 5pm.

Details of how to make comments on the proposals are available in the schools booklet and questionnaire, which are also available on the schools website.
