Mayor's Christmas Card Comptetion
Mayor of Tamworth Cllr Lee Bates is urging poets and photographers to submit their entries for his Christmas card competition. The deadline has now been extended to Thursday September 30, meaning people now have extra time to enter this year’s competition.
Cllr Lee Bates, Mayor of Tamworth, is looking for pictures and a verse to be printed on the Mayor’s annual Christmas card, which will be sent to hundreds of people, both here and abroad.
Cllr Bates is looking for photos and verses which represent Tamworth in both pictures and words. There is a separate competition for the photography and also the poetry. Asda is providing a photography hamper for the winning entries. He said;
